God is the God of abundant provision. He takes care of the birds of the air and clothes the flowers of the field. How much more will God provide for the needs of His children?
Jesus challenges our motivation for living when He says that the men and women of the world run after and anxiously pursue such provision. Rather, He tells us to seek first God?s kingdom and God?s righteousness trusting Him to meet our every need. Making these things your principal priority and purpose in life is the sure-fire way of placing yourself in the way of His blessing and abundance.
Key Thought
Fear and anxiety concerning the provision for your needs is a demonstration of a lack of trust in God and His Fatherly nature. But He knows your every need and is ready to make abundant and lavish provision as you seek Him above all else in your life.
Prayer
Dear Lord, I place my life into your hands today. I choose to focus on your kingdom and your will for me and trust you to supply every need of mine now and always.
Discipleship Steps
The difference between disciples of the kingdom and those in the world is simple but stark. We put God and the pursuit of His purposes above all ambition and every desire for abundance. At the base of our lives is the confidence that God is the source of our supply. This means we orientate our lives around His kingdom priorities and don?t let the selfish or anxious desires for things choke out the life of God in us. Renew your commitment to the kingdom today.

Great is your faithfulness, O God!
Lyrics:
Great is thy faithfulness, O God my father
There is no shadow of turning with Thee
Thou changest not, Thy compassions, they fail not
As Thou hast been, Thou forever will be
Great is thy faithfulness
Great is thy faithfulness
Morning by morning new mercies I see
All I have needed thy hands hath provided
Great is thy faithfulness, Lord unto me
Summer and winter, and springtime and harvest;
Sun , moon and stars in their courses above
Join with all nature in manifold witness
To thy great faithfulness, mercy and love
Great is thy faithfulness
Great is thy faithfulness
Morning by morning new mercies I see
All I have needed thy hands hath provided
Great is thy faithfulness, Lord unto me.
Pardon for sin and a peace that endureth
Thine own dear presence to cheer and to guide
Strength for today and bright hope for tomorrow
Blessings all mine, with ten thousand beside
Great is thy faithfulness
Great is thy faithfulness
Morning by morning new mercies I see
and All I have needed thy hands hath provided
Great is thy faithfulness,
Great is thy faithfulness
Great is thy faithfulness
Lord unto me..
