About Colin and Amanda
A life given to the Church
Colin was born in Kenya and spent part of his early life in Australia before moving to London at sixteen to train for a career in the performing arts. Two years after arriving in London, he came to faith in Christ — and in 1975 he left his career in the arts to study theology, going on to serve in Christian drug rehabilitation.
In 1979, Colin married Amanda, who had recently joined Kensington Temple. That same year he entered ministry there, and in 1985 began serving alongside Senior Minister Wynne Lewis. Colin went on to become Senior Leader of Kensington Temple, London City Church — the largest church in the Elim Alliance denomination — for 31 years, with Amanda serving alongside him throughout.
After 40 years in official pastoral ministry, Colin and Amanda stepped aside from local church leadership in 2021 to serve the nations in an independent but collaborative ministry. Today they minister together in the UK and across the world — preaching, training leaders, and walking alongside churches in seasons of prayer and renewal.
