]]> The basis of all our hope is Christ and what He has achieved for us on the cross. This hope is a living hope because Jesus is risen from the dead. We have been declared righteous by faith and we have peace with God. We now have free access into all the provisions of God?s grace and power.
We can rejoice in every condition and circumstance of life because we have a hope that can never fail.

We can rejoice in every condition and circumstance of life because we have a hope that can never fail. Negative experiences only serve to develop our character and our ability to hope. And, in the meantime, we have the Holy Spirit?s blessing and the experience of God?s love poured out into our hearts.

Hope is founded on our justification by faith through the finished work of Jesus on the cross. You have confidence to face every circumstance as you look forward to God?s promise for the future. This lifestyle comes from a real relationship with God?s Spirit and not mere concepts or ideas.

Prayer

Lord, I thank you that you have taken care of my past, my present and my future. I put my confidence in your promise of all that is to come and refuse every temptation to doubt or be afraid.

Discipleship Steps

God?s promises are perfect and unchangeable. But they can only operate as you let God work out His purposes in you. Because God has taken care of the past you can have confidence in the future. And your present experience of Christ will enrich you day by day and give you courage to make the right decisions. There is no short cut to character development but God is developing you as you walk in patience and perseverance.
Rejoice in the Lord always!

]]> The word ?hope? in the Bible is never ?hope so? or ?maybe?. It always means something certain, something we look for in the future and something that will surely come.

There is only one way by which we can have Hope, Jesus.

There is only one way by which we can have Hope, Jesus.


As Christians we always have hope (a confident expectation) that God will come through for us. Psalm 130 shows that our hope is the Lord Himself. As you watch and wait confidently expect your answer from the Lord. He will never fail you. He has already saved you and set you free from your sins, and so how can He not bring with His salvation every good thing in your life? His willingness and ability to rescue you never diminishes.

Key Thought

God has shown His mercy to you in not dealing with you according to your iniquities. Because He has already forgiven you of your wrong doing, you can be sure that He will never fail you in one single detail of your life. All He wants is for you to put your confidence in Him and in Him alone.

Prayer

Lord, I put my trust in you and place all my hopes and dreams in you. Please help me to confidently wait for you to act on my behalf in all situations, no matter how difficult that may be at times.

Discipleship Steps

Discipleship begins with experiencing God?s mercy. We deserve one thing, but God gives us something else ? His grace and forgiveness. This brings us into a relationship of love and deep respect for Him in every area of our lives. And this inspires confidence in God for His provision and help through all the circumstances and situations of life. Resist the temptation to take matters in your own hands. Rather look to God and wait, patiently and confidently, for Him to act.
