I believe sex is a natural part of the human experience and shouldn’t be seen as something negative. Marriage is a human construction. The Bible was written by man to control man. If I want to have sex or masturbate I’ll do it, because it would be unnatural to repress that aspect of my humanity. Obviously I would never assault another human or make advances without consent, but If sex is between two consenting adults there is nothing wrong with that. If you interpret the Bible and live your life the way you think it’s telling you to live, I have no objections but If that leads to the harm of others then there is a problem with you. Live and let live. Just thought I’d present the ‘other side of the coin’ to contrast with your article Colin.
