According to some influential ‘christian’ teachers, we are ‘little gods’. This is of course New Age teaching, just as Colin has made very clear in his article. The problem is that we are being fed misinformation by the media in every area of life. It is especially rampant in the church, where people are easily led by the nose because they do not read the Bible and therefor become ignorant of the basic principles of their faith and the character of God. It really is time to throw out the TV, have a family dinner around the table every evening and read from the Bible together. Our spiritual growth does not depend on our pastors and ministers, but on our ability to read the Word for ourselves. Thank you, Colin, for a good article.
